EMI and Warner Home Video announce a deluxe DVD version of Imagine: John Lennon.Derived from 200 hours of footage, stills and previously-unpublished music, the original feature-length film was produced by Andrew Solt and released to theaters in 1988.
It premiered in Hollywood as Lennon got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
In addition to previously-unused footage, the new version adds BBC interviews, the acoustic performance of "Imagine" at the Apollo Theater in 1971, a short subject titled John Lennon: The Man, The Music, The Memories and an interview with the headmaster at John's grammar school.
